We are delighted to invite you to join solar panel artist Chloe Uden, to make your own solar panel artwork that can charge your phone. This fun and interactive session is part of a series of EWiRE events to inspire and challenge you to look at energy in new ways.
EWiRE is a vibrant network for women in clean energy, made up of over 500 leaders and professionals. It is a network that champions and celebrates gender diversity in one of the world’s fastest growing industries.
This bespoke event is for 10 women who are wanting to broaden their technology horizons, learn new skills and build their network. The solar panel art workshop will run from 10:00 – 16:00. Following the workshop we will hold an EWiRE networking session from 16:00 – 18:00, where Chloe will display some of her artwork and you can display what you’ve built and talk about your experiences.
The event is kindly hosted by Triodos Bank.
Chloe Uden is a solar panel artist based in the UK. She is the founder of the collective Art and Energy CIC which is a group of artists that work to use their skills to respond to the climate emergency.
Chloe’s work seeks to explore, celebrate and play with the energy systems that connect us.
Art and Energy have reimagined solar panels as a new craft material, and their beautiful artworks generate green electricity for special places. www.artandenergy.org
