Graduate Project Assistant (Renewables) – Onshore Wind Development
12 months fixed term contract
Location: Baglan (near Port Talbot in South Wales)
Are you a recent graduate in environmental science, geography, planning or engineering, and looking to kick start your career in the Renewable Energy industry? At Innogy we have a vacancy in our Onshore Wind development team and are looking to recruit a Welsh-based Graduate Project Assistant to support the team in the development of a portfolio of onshore Wind Farm sites in Wales
You’ll be working closely with a team of experienced developers to assist on a number of onshore wind farm development projects . This could include site investigation, scoping out sites for new developments, analysis of preferred sites using GIS, and assisting on contract management.
Required skills and experience
– Experience of and an enthusiasm for GIS (Geographic Information System)
– Good report writing skills
– Project management experience
– Good organisational skills
– An interest in renewable energy and Sustainability
– Excellent communication skills (Welsh Speaker would be advantageous)
– Ability to be flexible and work on a number of projects at once
– Must be flexible to travel (occasional overnight stays and possible international travel)
– Ability to use Microsoft packages
We are looking for recent graduates, with some experience of working in an office environment, who can start immediately. The role will be based in Baglan (near Port Talbot in South Wales)
