Mark Howard

Project manager

Mark holds a bachelors degree in engineering and has over a decade of experience in the low carbon sector, he is a project manager at Regen with a specialism in heat and the built environment.

Mark joined the team at Regen to work full-time on the ZEBCat programme, Devon-based trial of the Energiesprong concept. As business support manager Mark was responsible for engaging Devon-based SMEs with the ZEBCat project and with broader Energiesprong work, to build capacity within Devon for the growing whole-house retrofit market.

After graduating Mark spent three years working at Riverford Organics (in partnership with the University of Exeter) running a project researching, developing, implementing and communicating carbon auditing and reduction policies.  Following this he was responsible for the technical development of carbon offset projects funded by the voluntary carbon market. Most recently Mark spent six years working for SunGift Energy in a wide-ranging role covering solar PV and renewable heating system design, project management, installation, and running strategic internal operations and process improvement projects.
