Regen has set up a pilot mentoring programme to support women in the clean energy industry to progress their careers.

Mentoring is when an individual offers to guide, help and provide direction to someone with their career or professional development. Having a mentor can help to stimulate motivation, improve performance and support the career progression decisions of mentees. They can provide a mentee with a fresh
perspective, the benefit of experience and a renewed sense of potential.

Dr Natalie Lowery, Modelling Analyst,  Energy Systems Catapult

“Thank you again for including me in the scheme.  My mentor has helped me to implement a number of practical changes, from improving my LinkedIn profile to becoming a STEM ambassador.  These steps are already helping me to get noticed more and building my confidence and knowledge. From my perspective mentoring has already benefitted me greatly.”

To learn more about the programme and to apply to be either a mentor or a mentee, download our EWIRE Mentoring Guide.  The programme lasts for 12 months and should consist of a minimum of six sessions.

To date, we have matched 15 mentees with mentors.  Feedback from participants is overwhelmingly positive.

If you are interested in signing up as a mentor or mentee please get in touch.
