Project Manager – Local Authorities

We are recruiting a project manager to support our expanding work with local authorities, cities and regions. The successful candidate will be leading and supporting projects with local stakeholders and leading players in the energy system (such as the energy networks), developing net zero strategies and engaging with stakeholders to shape the outputs.

Senior Analyst

We have opportunities available for candidates with strong data analysis skills who are keen to take a whole system view across the energy sector, accelerating the drive to net zero. As a senior energy analyst at Regen, you will lead projects and people to present compelling data and narratives to shape the transformation of our energy system towards net zero. You will problem solve, manipulate and analyse large datasets, and develop innovative methodologies to underpin our pioneering projects.

Project Managers 

We have opportunities available for candidates who can lead and support projects with leading players in the energy system (such as the energy networks), developing net zero strategies and engaging with stakeholders to shape the outputs. The skills we are looking for include:

  • a good knowledge of the energy sector and energy systems
  • an ability to analyse data and produce excellent reports, graphics and presentation material
  • very good communication skills and the ability to lead and chair events and meeting (take a look at this webinar as an example)
  • effective and creative engagement skills, working closely with our events and communication teams

Transferring into the energy sector

We are also interested in hearing from people with transferable skills and a genuine interest in energy from other industries, for example transport, aerospace and manufacturing.

Other sectors could include:

  • Consultancy and professional services
  • IT and data analysis
  • Public sector and government agencies
  • 3rd sector organisations campaigning organisations and NGOs – especially those working with communities and local stakeholders
  • Academia and research
  • Communications, PR, policy and advocacy
  • Overseas experience in Europe and developing countries
  • Armed forces
  • Other creative sectors

Applicants may have little or no direct energy experience, but must demonstrate a genuine interest in energy and the vital role it can play to decarbonise our economy.
