Regen and the Electricity Storage Network have responded to the Inflexible Offer Licence Condition consultation from Ofgem. This consultation built upon the Call for Input published in late 2022 on high balancing costs, which sought views on how to reform the Balancing Mechanism and reduce some of the challenging market behaviours of some assets, that are pushing up balancing costs.
