Anna Cuckow

Anna collaborates with local authorities, national and regional government partners to advance the clean energy transition.

Since joining Regen in 2025, she has led projects for Innovate UK, helping local authorities adopt innovation to meet urgent local needs – warmer homes, cleaner air, cheaper bills – and gain confidence in new partnerships with businesses and investors. She has researched how councils can better connect their strategic priorities to help communities thrive and explored how new approaches to planning and financing can help local authorities attract the investment which is vital to a fast and fair transition.

Anna joined Regen from WSP, where she specialised in helping local authorities to plan and procure electric vehicle charging infrastructure. Developing strategies, securing grant funding and engaging with suppliers gave her deep insight into the complexity of fulfilling the strategic needs of communities while ensuring commercial viability and the importance of collaboration to find solutions.

Anna is focused on growing Regen’s network of local authority members and harnessing our expertise to better enable local places achieve their climate and energy ambitions.

Outside of work, Anna can often be found walking on Dartmoor or the coast, exploring her new home in Devon.
