Before we kick off the autumn intake of the 2026 ReWiRE mentoring programme, we’re inviting past and current participants to an exclusive networking evening of champagne, cheese and chocolate tasting! An informal, in-person gathering to reflect, share experiences, and celebrate the impact of the programme so far and well as time to celebrate the individuals within it.
ReWiRE is Regen’s Women in Renewable Energy network, partnering with the clean energy sector to champion gender diversity and empower women to lead in the energy transition. For over a decade, ReWiRE has focused on connecting women across the sector, inspiring leadership at all levels, increasing the visibility of positive role models, and fostering supportive, meaningful professional networks.
This networking evening is designed to reflect those values, offering an informal and welcoming space to come together, meet peers, share ideas and experiences, and build connections with others working across renewable energy. Whether you are well established in your career or looking to broaden your network, the evening provides an opportunity to engage in open conversation, exchange perspectives, and strengthen relationships that help drive progress and inclusion across the industry.
How well do you know your Moët from your Bollinger? Can you tell the difference between a Spanish cava and an English sparkling wine? How do they pair with an Époisses de Bourgogne or a Tunworth? And what’s the perfect match for Praline Feuilletine or Vanilla Pecan?
During the evening, we will test your palate and knowledge across five rounds of champagne pairing, including blind tastings, “name that” challenges and associated quiz questions. The format is designed to encourage interaction, conversation and a little friendly competition. Winners will be those with the strongest all‑round knowledge of champagne, cheese and chocolate.
Whether you’re planning to join the next round or want to share your journey, or if you are interested, we’d love to see you there.

The Electricity Storage Network Annual Conference is a platform for key industry players and policymakers to gather and debate what’s needed to attract and maintain the billions of pounds of investment required for this crucial asset class – from supportive policy and regulatory frameworks to shifting revenue strategies and evolving business models.
With over 5 GW of grid-scale battery storage operational and a 3 GW pipeline of new pumped hydro storage projects, plus other technologies in development, grid-scale electricity storage is established as key to a zero-carbon energy system – a testament to the success of our 100+ members.
And with an ambitious Clean Power 2030 action plan for accelerated clean power, against the backdrop of significant grid connection and market reform, and a long duration energy storage cap and floor scheme, the role of storage and flexibility is more important than ever.
At the ESN Annual Conference you’ll hear directly from our members and key decision makers from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, Ofgem and the National Energy System Operator on the latest changes across a range of topics critical to the storage sector, including Clean Power 2030, the revenue environment, long duration energy storage, grid connection reform and fire safety.
This is also an opportunity to learn about the ESN’s work to ensure policy, markets and regulation are geared to enable the storage sector to flourish and grow at the pace and scale required while networking with 300+ industry leaders in central London.
