Tamar is the head of innovation at Regen. She strives to be at the cutting edge of the energy sector through both thought leadership and pioneering projects. She leads Regen’s work in data and digitalisation, smart technologies and innovative supply models.
Tamar’s first innovation project was The Sunshine Tariff in 2014, which was one of the UK’s first ‘time of use tariff’ trials with the goal of releasing network capacity for more renewables. Since then, Tamar has worked with multiple electricity network operators, local authorities, community energy organisations and the private sector to explore regulatory barriers, business models and stakeholder needs related to the energy transition.
