This online forum is for community and local energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region who want to understand how to begin a community-led householder retrofit programme. Carbon Co-op’s retrofit experts will provide practical advice for both newer community energy organisations who want to begin engaging their community in retrofit, as well as experienced groups who want to start a scheme like People Powered Retrofit in their community. The session will help community energy stakeholders understand how able-to-pay retrofit relates to and differs from energy advice and fuel poverty alleviation work, and how they can build upon this work with more long-term solutions.
