A new working group set up and led by Ray Arrell, head of technical development at Regen. This new group seeks to: explore new or emerging electricity storage technologies (and enabling technologies) and their benefits to the wider electricity system; highlight and work to remove technical barriers preventing new or existing electricity storage technologies from effectively accessing and participating in electricity markets; and engage with innovation programmes, industry consultations, regulatory reform and government policy surrounding electricity storage technologies.
