This online workshop is for community and local energy stakeholders in Northern Powergrid’s region who want to engage the wider public and their community in the energy transition – going beyond the ‘usual suspects’. The session will help you understand how different engagement techniques and programmes can enable your organisation to reach sets of people who are typically less proactively engaged in community energy, decarbonisation or other green issues – such as young people and lower income groups. You will hear from local energy organisations pioneering some of these engagement programmes and discuss ideas in breakout groups.
