As head analyst, Joel is responsible for leading and developing Regen’s analytical team, as well as developing Regen’s modelling and analysis capability. In addition, Joel is an experienced project manager, managing and delivering our future energy scenario projects and other technical advisory services.
Joel is an expert in developing innovative approaches to data analysis, which has been the key to a significant expansion in Regen’s advisory work; from a foundation of undertaking resource analysis and baseline low carbon energy studies across England and Wales, to a full programme of delivering complex analysis of potential future trends in renewable energy generation and energy demand technologies to inform the investment decisions of DNOs to 2032.
Joel holds a MEng in renewable energy from the University of Exeter and came top of his year, after which he was the co-founder of a community energy group in East Devon.
