Rachel leads Regen’s networks and development, as well as the organisation’s events, marketing and communications, raising our profile as a key national voice in decarbonising our energy system.
Rachel leads the development of our membership strategy – delivering value to member companies and harnessing insight, including Regen members and the Electricity Storage Network. Providing key forums that address the latest issues for the sector, helping us to be a strong, informed and independent force for change. Rachel is also the driving force behind some of the leading clean energy events including the annual Green Energy Awards and receptions at the Houses of Commons and Lords with ministerial and senior official speakers.
Rachel founded a thriving national Women in Renewables network, EWiRE, to ensure the sector is at the forefront of harnessing talent and received a British Empire Medal in 2017 for her services to the energy sector, in particular, her work supporting the development of women in the sector.
Rachel specialises in stakeholder engagement and has led significant engagement programmes with WPD and the ENA focussed on community energy. In her role as a director of Community Energy England Rachel has helped develop the organisation from startup to a powerful voice for the community energy sector.
Previously Rachel worked for the Tour of Britain and was part of an agency working with clients such as Nokia and Vodafone.
