Shona is an energy analyst who joined Regen in September 2022 after completing her master’s degree in Renewable Energy Development based in the Orkney Islands, where her dissertation focused on enabling island communities to transition towards net zero living.
Shona works in both the community and analysis areas. Recent community work she has been involved in has been the Power Allotments, Devon project, a large scale community energy site finding project, alongside the Devon Energy Collective. As well as, managing the Northern Powergrid Net Zero Community Energy Fund. She is also involved in the analysis of the Distribution Network Future Energy Scenario (DFES) for Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks.
