Regen Annual Review 2021/22

The only path out of the climate and economic crises we face is to lock in a secure clean energy future that will drive sustainable growth and shield people from high energy bills. Regen’s focus this year has been to work with our members, partners and friends, to overcome the challenges we face:

• Our ‘A Day in the Life of 2035’ report with the Electricity System Operator provided detailed insight into the path to a zero carbon power system.
• We have put the spotlight on the challenges of electricity network capacity that is holding back low carbon investment.
• We have focused on the role of local leadership in tackling challenges like decarbonising heat and supporting the most vulnerable.
