Andrew joined Regen as a graduate energy analyst in 2024 after completing an MSc in renewable energy engineering at the University of Exeter, following a bachelor’s in mechanical engineering at Queen’s University Belfast.
His dissertation explored how Northern Ireland could transition to a 100% renewable energy system. His interest in whole-system analysis and experience with Northern Ireland led him to work on future scenarios for Northern Ireland Electricity Networks and later on Regen’s Distribution Future Energy Scenarios. He enjoys the challenge of complex analytical work and is keen to use his knowledge and experience to advance progress towards a more sustainable future.
Andrew is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and is working towards Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status. Based in west Cornwall, he’s also a keen surfer.
