Jodie Giles, senior project manager, and Ky Hoare, local energy coordinator has helped to produce Western Power Distrobution’s Net Zero Communities Strategy this month.
We helped Western Power Distribution (WPD) produce their Net Zero Communities Strategy this month, which sets out what they have done, and what they will do next to support community and local energy organisation. The strategy includes actions around collaborating with communities and local authorities to achieve net zero, additional connections support, a focus on innovation with communities, and embedding this key stakeholder group into their next business plan which governs what they can spend in future. The plan is based on feedback from WPD’s extensive engagement with communities over the past seven years, in partnership with Regen.
