Electricity Storage Network lead

Olly leads the Electricity Storage Network, the industry group and voice for the grid-scale electricity storage sector in GB, with a diverse membership of 100 leading electricity storage sector organisations from across different market actors. He is an expert in effective stakeholder engagement, working closely with our members, chairing and facilitating working groups, presenting on key issues, leading the development of the ESN annual conference and writing consultation responses. While building and maintaining key relationships with our member organisations, policy makers (DESNZ), regulators (Ofgem), NESO, and other network operators.

Olly has been in the sector for 11 years and previously worked as a senior project manager at Regen. He has led projects across various sectors, including local energy innovation, electricity network development and operations, and EU-funded programmes.

In his spare time, Olly volunteers as a non-exec director for Totnes Renewable Energy Society, a community energy group, and attempt to run up hills (ideally off-road) around Totnes.
